I didn't fly privately to New York each weekend of my young adulthood to shop the exclusive lines at Bergdorfs, or have illustrious adventures at every prestigious gala and fashion event of the 21st century, and I certainly didn't adorn myself in a multitude of designer labels for a simple day at school. I came into fashion on my own terms, with my own personal interpretations.
They say "eyes are the window to the soul"... If our eyes are the "windows" then our bodies must be the framework and foundation for the house as a whole. I came to understand and appreciate how important it was that I dress to fit my own mold. Sure, I wanted to be comfortable and practical, but more so I wanted to project my personality in an outward sense. The way I dress is merely a reflection of my soul onto the canvas of my everyday life.
Through creating this blog I hope to document the things that inspire me from a fashion point of view.
A memoir, one could call it...
